Laboratory of BioTechnology (LBT)
The LBT technical platform provides a shared scientific environment where research teams can access, on a single site, the infrastructure and equipment required for their experimental work, from sample preparation to analysis.
Facilities and equipment tailored to your research needs
The platform is designed to support the different stages of experimental workflows and includes: • a washing and sterilization area; • dedicated storage areas for consumables and samples, including −80 °C and −150 °C freezers and a cold room; • access, subject to specific conditions, to an FPLC system for protein purification.
• L1 Laboratory – Microbiology
Dedicated to microbiological research, the L1 laboratory is equipped with:
- 2 shaking-incubators;
- 1 microbiological incubator;
- 2 centrifuges;
- equipment for protein and DNA gel electrophoresis.
• L2 Laboratory – Cell Culture
Dedicated to mammalian cell culture, the L2 laboratory is equipped with:
- 3 CO₂ incubators;
- 2 microbiological safety cabinets (PSM);
- 1 microscope;
- 1 cell counter.
A shared infrastructure supporting research
The platform is shared by approximately 50 users from the CPCV – UMR 8228 and IMAP – UMR 8004 research teams. This shared infrastructure promotes equipment and expertise sharing while optimizing resources, thereby supporting the research projects of all users. Access to the facilities and equipment is provided through an internal billing.
