• Bioinorganic chemistry— Inorganic chemical biology
• Superoxide dismutase mimics (SOD mimics), superoxide, cellular models of oxidative stress, metal-based anti-oxidants
• Metal-carbonyls as multimodal probes for imaging: IR-spectromicroscopy, micro X-ray fluorescence and classical fluorescence. Design as organelles trackers.
• Metals in biology: intracellular detection,  metal imaging, metal distribution, metal speciation
• Oxidative stress
• Therapeutic applications of metal-based anti-oxidants

· Co-recipient of the 2022 Fédération Gay-Lussac Prize 2022 awarded by the Institut de France and the French Académie des Sciences, on “Chemistry and Its Impact on Society”
